How to turn on post notifications for specific users on Instagram

Instagram lets you enable post notifications so you never miss updates from your favorite creators, friends, or important accounts.

Open Instagram and visit the profile of the user whose posts you want notifications for.

Tap the bell icon in the top-right corner of their profile page.

Toggle on Posts to get alerts whenever they upload new content.

You can also enable notifications for Stories, Reels, or Live videos from the same menu.

Make sure your phone notifications for Instagram are turned on, otherwise alerts won’t appear.

To stop notifications later, tap the bell icon again and switch them off anytime.
