Google Podcasts says goodbye to YouTube Music's hello!

Google is sunsetting one of its popular apps, Google Podcasts.

As the name suggests, the Google Podcasts app gave a platform to podcasters from around the world.

The fate of the Podcasts app is similar to that of Google Play Music.

Much like how the Play Music was phased out in favour of YouTube Music, the Podcasts app is also shutting down.

Google said the Podcasts app will shut down from April 2.

YouTube Music will replace the Podcasts app.

In addition to featuring music, the YouTube Music app will also host podcasts.

YouTube Music app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
