Google Maps can help avoid overspeeding challan; here's how
February 02, 2024
Google Maps is one of the best apps for navigation, allowing you to quickly check routes and explore places.
Over the past few years, Google has improved Maps to offer detailed information about places worldwide.
While people are aware of most features of Google Maps, a few go unnoticed.
One of these features is the speedometer, which allows you to check the speed of your vehicle.
It also keeps a log of permissible speed limits on roads for different areas.
So when you are overspeeding, the speedometer prompts you to drive slowly.
This feature, thus, helps you to avoid overspeeding challans on most roads.
To turn it on, go to Settings > Navigation and turn the Speedometer on.
