Disable adult content on Instagram like this

You can choose to see less adult content on Instagram. 

To do that, head to Reels section on Instagram, tap on three dots, then click on Manage content preferences. 

Tap on Sensitive content and select Less to see less sensitive content. 

Another way to directly block adult or sensitive content is by hiding Reels with specific words.

To do that, you need to tap on the "Specific words and phrases" option in Manage content preferences. 

Then tap on "Add multiple items separated by commas…" and add specific words like 18+ or adult, which will ban reels with these words. 

The third way to ban adult content is to tell Instagram that you aren't interested. 

To do that, open any Reel, tap on three dots, and then click on Not Interested. 

When you do this multiple times for similar content (for eg: adult content), then Instagram will stop showing you that content.
